These blankets are photo-woven from cotton yarn. The process below is the weaving process. It is not a claim that Walter personally weaves each order.
01The design is drawn
The image is worked until it can hold as a weave. Color, scale, and meaning are set on paper first.
02The warp is set
The pattern is translated onto the loom. These blankets are photo-woven from cotton yarn. Made in the USA.
03The piece is finished
Edges and fringe are completed. The blanket is inspected before it is packed.

Meet Walter
Walter is the designer and the voice of this shop. He draws the memorial and heritage images that become the blankets.
He does not sit at a loom for each order. The work is the drawing, the meaning, and the care in how a design is set into cloth.
